Liverpool 98 Boys (Boys Classic League Div II)
Profile Clagget was born in Zimbabwe. Blessed by being born to a father who played club soccer, Clagget’s interaction and affinity for soccer started at a very young age. Soccer, which is called Futbol, is the main sport where he grew up. Clagget played for first teams throughout his primary school and junior school ages. At the high school age, Clagget began to play for State and National level teams.
Clagget moved to the US to pursue an academic scholarship at the university level. His undergraduate school did not have an NCAA soccer program, but did participate in a university club program that competed in the local leagues around the Macon Georgia Area. He also played at the graduate level in the Alabama/Aubourn area local leagues between 1988 and 1993.
Clagget moved to Dallas in 1995 where he played Div 1 and Div 4 soccer in the NTPSA of Plano as a player/coach. His favorite EPL team of all time is Liverpool. He is proud to coach for Liverpool FC America as he plans to help his U-10 Boys team qualify for the Boy’s Classic League this fall.
Clagget holds both a bachelor’s degree as well as two masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and Masters of Bussiness Administration (MBA) and currently works for a well-known engineering firm in Plano. His trademark as a coach is his strong belief in discipline, perseverance and committment. It is with these three things that all success is possible whether the goals belong on the pitch or in life.
