His first head coaching position was in Washington State leading the 89 boys for the Norpoint soccer club. This team qualified and competed in the 1st division of Region 3 racking up awards including back- to- back Thanksgiving tournament wins and a 5 a side State championship. Shortly after moving to Texas he took a position with the Lewisville Hawks 90 girls, success followed. The girls went on to win their division, meanwhile merging with the Dallas Texans and winning tournaments from the Denton Summer Showdown to the Austin Labor Day Cup. Glen is a skills coach as well. While running skills for the Dallas Texans West division he built and coached a 97 boys academy team, which has gone on to play in 1st division of the classic league. A family man, Glen and his wife Wendy, have graduated two of their children to play collegiate soccer and their third plays in the 1st division. With Glen Jr. winning N. Texas high school Player of the Year, the Marshalls have traveled to tournaments from California to Florida and Sweden. Glen is a motivator and after a two year break is back to coach, now, with Liverpool.
