Profile Mike Mouton was raised in Louisiana and graduated from McNeese State University in 1985 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. He moved to the Dallas metroplex in 1986. Mike has coached youth soccer for GLASA over the past 10 years. He has coached both boys and girls, and two of his recreational teams have advanced to the Tournament of Champions.
Mike is dedicated to his players and to their families. He wants their soccer experience to be a positive one and works diligently to promote a family atmosphere. He drives his girls to be the very best they can be on and off of the soccer field. His teams are known for promoting good sportsmanship against their competitor’s.
Mike’s coaching philosophy involves developing the individual player, but also promoting team work. The team can only be as good as the sum of its parts, and it takes everyone on the team to be successful. Mike teaches his players to be disciplined, to play as a team, but most of all to have fun and enjoy the game of soccer. Mike and his wife and three children live in Flower Mound.
