Profile Phillip is a Native Texan. Born in Irving Texas, he moved to Flower Mound with his family in 1980. Phillip grew up playing youth sports in Lewisville and because of that has a heart for the next generation of young athletes. He is a 1991 graduate of Lewisville High School, and has a degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Dallas.
Phillip has coached girl’s soccer for nine years and emphasizes character and work ethic in his coaching style. He believes you never just acquire a “soccer player” onto your team, but instead you acquire a child. He says “It’s my job to recognize all the outside factors that may be influencing the child and help nurture all of them as they relate to life and soccer.”
Phillip lives in Highland Village with his wife of sixteen years, their four daughters, and one son.
