Sebastian Teeling was born in Stockholm, Sweden where he grew up playing youth soccer for Hammarby IF.  In 1999 his family decided move to Dallas where he graduated from Plano Senior High School in 2005 where he was a four year letterman on the men's soccer team.  Sebastian then attended The University of the Ozarks up in Clarksville, Arkansas, where he played collegiate soccer for four years.  In that span, the team reached the playoffs all four years, and won the American Southwest Conference regular season championship in 2007.  Sebastian also recieved a bachelor's degree in Business Administration while graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 2009.

During his club soccer career in America, Sebastian played for the Texas Spurs for one year, and won the MVP award.  He then played for the Dallas Texans for several years, and in his senior year played for River Plate.  In Sebastian’s own words, “I love the game and believe there is so much one can learn from soccer, athletically as well as spiritually.   Valuable life lessons are taught while being in a fun and enjoyable environment.  I want to give that back to all my players now as a coach and see them grow, develop and learn everything they can become as an athlete, student and person.”
