Liverpool 01Girls Rush and Callaghan Teams Champions in Primetime 2009 Tournament May 2,3 -First ever tournament.

Liverpool Rush did very well in their first ever tournament playing The Primetime 2009 Tournament.  They went unscored upon during the gruling weather beaten through rain, lightening, delay and then play...with 13 Goals for and 0 goals against.  They won the Championship match against a good Solar 01 team who had been playing up a year.

Liverpool Callaghan also did very well, but had a rough start as they had to play the tough Solar team that the Rush beat in the final.  They struggled finding their rhythm, but had it all together for their second match.  They tied a very good Polaris 01 team 2-2 team.  Their third game did get rained out, but overall a very successful adventure for all that played.

In the Spring, Liverpool Rush competed in SDL Division 2 and tied for Third place with a record of 5-2-1.  Liverpool Callaghan tied for 2nd Place in SDL Division 3 with a record of 5-1-2.  Combined, these two dynamic teams scored 65 goals and had 25 scored against.
