About Us
The Liverpool Reds Academy was started in 2007 with a central theme of player development through a love of the game. Creating a strong healthy approach to developing young athletes required that the goals look not only to benefit young athletes with a distinct advantage in their competitive soccer careers, but well beyond their stay within our academy. Development of an athlete requires that at all ages you look at all four “pieces” of an athlete’s development. Technical, Tactical, physical and psychological factors are all key pieces in their development. The benefits or “Liverpool Advantages” offered by the Reds Academy Curriculum focus on these key components with important elements designed to help all athletes achieve their potential. Elements range from small rosters, great coach to player ratios and a positive coaching environment to core technical focus within a positive teaching environment for every player.
With our foundation clearly centered on player development and player confidence our growth, scope and deep rooted commitment to our athletes have all resonated with parents and communities from Keller and Arlington to Allen and McKinney and most cities in between. Without hesitation, our athletes will tell you about the fun they have training with their teams, and parents will tell you that they appreciate the respect and appreciation they receive here at Liverpool.
Our program began in 2007 with two teams and has grown to now, in 2011 to more than 50 teams across a four county area. This remarkable growth is due to our coaches, their enthusiasm and their dedication to the finest training program in the South. People are hearing about renewed focus on leadership, the player-friendly programs, and the pride and determination our athletes have to be the very best they can be.
