During his time with Liverpool Toshack scored 96 goals; he was part of the team that won the Football League Championship in 1973, 1976 and 1977, the FA Cup in 1974, and the UEFA Cup in 1973 and 1976.
Toshack is still held in high regard by the supporters of Liverpool and was voted in at No.34 on the Liverpool Football Club web-site poll 100 Players Who Shook The Kop, in which thousands of fans worldwide voted for their top 100 Liverpool players.

Great 3rd Place Finish in Legacy Freedom Cup
Over the weekend of January 25 and 26 the boys competed in the Legacy Freedom Cup in Lewisville. The boys played hard and were able to finish 3rd in the tournament.
Saturday morning was an early wake up call as the Texas Thunder were on the schedule at 8:00 AM. LFCA 05 Toshack was awake and ready for the test. The boys played really well connecting some passes and getting players out into space. When the game ended the boys had put together a 6-0 victory.
After a few hour break the boys were back on the pitch against Liverpool 05 Gerrard. The Toshack boys picked up right were they left off in the first game which sharp passing and great defense. This game was finished up with a 10-0 victory.
The night-cap on Saturday came against Arsenal 05. The boys played there hearts our and left it all out on the pitch. The shows great hustle and never gave up. Ultimately the game went in favor on the eventual tournament champion Arsenal 05 with a final score of 6-0.
However, the effort put in on Saturday was good enough to win their bracket and advance to the semi-finals on Sunday morning. The semi-final matchup was against Lighting 05. The boys started a little slow, but ended up playing hard and never giving up. However, it was Lighting that was able to advance to championship game with a 6-0 win.
In all the boys had a great time and got to show off all the hard work from practice with some sharp passing and solid finishing.
We are all looking forward to seeing the boys on the pitch again soon.
