Bio
Jonathan Savage has been either playing soccer or coaching his entire life. He started playing select soccer in Tampa, Florida before he moved to Texas. He started his select soccer career in Texas playing for The Tornado’s (then American Eagles) soccer club under head coach Scott Kerlin, and later on Mick Tiiman.
He went on to play Division I and II select soccer for various other soccer organizations and participated in several high-level tournaments including Dallas Cup hosting visiting players from other countries. Jonathan attended Grapevine High School where he played, soccer for a state-runner up team which finished 7th in National Rankings for spring semester sports.
As a junior he earned district honorable mention award, and as a senior her earned first team all district, second team all area, first team all North Tarrant County, and district honors defensive player of the year. His senior year he also earned the most coveted award for Grapevine Athletics the G-Award in soccer.
After High School he went to Texas Christian University for four years and earned a degree with a double major in Accounting and Financing. After school he began volunteering as a coach for the Grapevine Southlake Soccer Association. He’s currently a CPA for Fannie Mae.
