Tahlon Drake

Born and raised in Frisco, TX, Tahlon Drake became part of the inaugural soccer team his sophomore year in high school. His senior year, he was voted most valuable offensive player and took Frisco High to its first playoff game and subsequent win. In addition to his school team, Tahlon Drake played for a local competitive club in the classic division for the majority of his club experience. 

Following high school, Tahlon went to Hendrix College in Conway Arkansas to play Division III Soccer. After one year, he headed off to Romania, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany to chase his dreams of playing overseas. After touring Europe, he found himself back in the states continuing his education at the University of California, Santa Barbara while playing in an indoor travel team all the while.

He now plays on a Division 1A Men’s Outdoor Team of the NTPSA. From the field and now to the sidelines, Tahlon Drake is an up and coming soccer coach in the Frisco area. His love for the game has transformed him into an energetic, passionate, and highly knowledgeable coach over the past two years. He demands teamwork, focuses on communication and views the club experience as a simulated family.

Teaching trust, respect, loyalty, and determination, Tahlon feels all these qualities help an athlete become not only better soccer players, but also more compassionate people in other areas of life as well. Tahlon Drake has worked with many local clients to focus on their individual and unique challenges in soccer. These one-on-one sessions is where Tahlon feels he really shines and is able to demonstrate how to remedy any issues they may face on the field. From there, the athlete can join his or her team with a newfound confidence and understanding of the game. Tahlon Drake currently resides near Frisco, Texas
