Bio
Nick is an enthusiastic Englishman, whose coaching career stretches over 10 years, bringing great experience and knowledge to his teams. Nick started coaching at the early age of 14. After coaching through high school and captaining the high school team, Nick played at Buckinghamshire Chiltern University College while studying Sports Management and Soccer Studies winning Player of the Year and promoted to Captain in his first year. While at College he coached for pro English league club Wycombe Wonderers, working with there youth set up. After stopping playing due to injury, Nick became Head Coach for the college team. Nick then came stateside and found his passion for coaching the youth of America. Over time Nick has coached players who have gone in to the academy and youth set up’s of pro English teams Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Ipswich and Tottenham. Nick concentrates on coaching his teams to play “beautiful” soccer, which means keeping the ball on the floor and using great passing and moving play by being technically sound. Nick focuses on his players learning the beautiful game by playing in a beautiful way, whilst having a fun and positive experience every time they step onto the field. Nick’s coaching philosophy comes from a quote stated by Stuart Greer, “They will care what you know…when they know that you care.”
