Bio
Drew Rowell comes to Liverpool FC America by way of Amarillo, Texas. Coach Rowell began his soccer career playing for the High Plains Drifter soccer club. In high school he earned all-academic and all-district honors three of his four years and also earned a starting spot on the Olympic Development All-State U-16 and U-17 Texas team. At that time, Coach Rowell was recruited to play for West Texas A&M University. At WTAMU, Coach Rowell anchored the Buff Defense as a 3 year starter, earned all-academic honors his sophomore year, and was named to the Lone Star Conference, 1st team his senior year.
A USSF State licensed coach, Rowell began his coaching career with the High Plains Drifters at the age of 19. He has extensive coaching experience with both boys and girls teams and has been on staff at numerous soccer camps including WTAMU and Texas A&M camps. Coach Rowell has an intense focus on individual player development and tactical team play.
