Select Soccer 

  • Teams are selected in May and June for the following soccer year.
  • Tryouts are held and players are selected by the trainer under the supervision of the Director of Training.
  • Travel is necessary for away games
      o Most games are in the Austin or San Antonio areas:
         CAYSA Fields or Western District Fields
      o Some divisions have games at more distant locations
  • Qualifying tournaments for Division I and Super II are during the summer - usually July.
  • Players are required to support Club fund raising.
  • Division I and Super II teams need a higher level of commitment.
  • Select teams have assigned professional coaches.
  • All teams must use only Liverpool FC America approved coaches.
  • Liverpool FC America has verified the background, licenses and skills of all approved trainers to provide consistent coaching.

Tryout Information
Tryouts are held and players are selected by the coach under the supervision of the Director of Training.

  • Players should attend tryouts, arriving 20 minutes early to make sure paperwork is complete.
  • Players should be dressed to play soccer.
  • Each player needs to bring a ball, water and MUST have shin guards.

Registration & Costs  Fact Sheet
Liverpool FC America Club sets their annual registration fees each year prior to tryouts.  The registration fee reflects the costs for:

  • Player Training
  • Insurance
  • Field Usage
  • Referees
  • Sanctioning Fees to US Youth Soccer, South Texas Soccer and CAYSA
  • General Administration

The registration fees are payable with an installment option, but are non-refundable.  An initial payment is required at registration.

Some teams will also collect monthly dues (approx $25) to cover the internal team expenses.  These funds are managed by the team and used for items such as reimbursement to the trainer for travel or equipment.

USYSA registration form:
  - in English
  - en español

  • Medical Release Form
  • Clear copy of players official birth certificate (if not already on file)
  • Small picture for Player ID card
  • Registration check made payable to your team
